There are fees involved with taking all standardized tests for college admission such as the ACT in Lafayette. Due to testing costs, some students who are having financial difficulties cannot afford to take such tests, thus hindering them from getting into college. What is a student to do if the cost of taking the test is more than they can afford?

Most students take the SAT in Alamo in the 11th grade, which allows them time to retake the test if they don't do well enough. At the same time, though, the SAT also sees if you have learned anything while you were in high school which will enable you to answer all the questions in the test.
